There was once a woman from Los Angeles with an idea. A vision for people with curly, coily and tight textured hair to have key products that work, be in community, and love their hair. The journey began in 2008, trialling various ingredients, formulas + consistency, packaging, sizing to meet these key factors and after 10 years to testing, Tracee Ellis Ross launched PATTERN Beauty.
Whether you grew up knowing Joan from Girlfriends, Bow from Black-ish, Diana Ross’ daughter or Tracee Ellis Ross as Founder of PATTERN, it is an HONOUR for us to be introducing you to one of our budget list brands this October.
It’s clear that Tracee’s legacy is already one of outstanding authenticity, pose, experimentation and most importantly representation. In every sphere she steps into, she shows up full of herself, full of her authentic power and we hope the products in this box inspire you to do the same.

Mini Hydrating Shampoo
This is a gentle, moisturizing formula that softly lathers to cleanse hair & scalp removing build-up & dirt without stripping away moisture (heavy on the “without stripping”). With a rich and full consistency, hair is left healthy & hydrated & ready to be pampered by your favourite PATTERN conditioning products. A solid start to your wash day.
Intensive Conditioner
The next step. The PATTERN conditioner selection is extensive and of all 4, this Intensive Conditioner is the richest and geared towards tight textures – helping to protect against breakage & dryness while maintaining curl definition after rinse-out. An extra nugget, great for low porosity hair struggling to take in moisture.
Styling Cream
Great for styling wet and dry hair, this styling cream provides superior moisture penetration & the ideal oil-rich, touchable hold when setting twist outs, braid outs, bantu knots, wash-&-gos, locs & more. All of PATTERN product operate with a simple motto – a little goes a long way!
Scalp Serum
We always trust a product more when we can feel it working and the slight tingle with this Scalp serum is dermatologist-tested and gives your scalp a sense of relief when our tresses are in tighter styles. Massage it in and feel the vibes.
Mini Wide Tooth Comb
Loading up on the hair tools this year we are haha. This heavy-duty but kind comb is gentle on strands and is great for detangling wet hair. Perfect for teasing out curls and shaking out any stiffness and encouraging volume.

This soft Microfiber Towel hugs your curls in chicness & absorbs excess water post-shower. Made of premium microfiber material, the towel helps to dry hair without heat & won't disrupt the curl pattern styling magic you did on wash day.
